The landscape design responds to the estate character of the residence, balancing the refinement and formality of its European-influenced architecture with the natural beauty of the surrounding woodland, stone outcroppings, and water.
Graceful, curvilinear forms and layered plantings draw inspiration from the patterns, rhythms, and proportions found in nature. Sweeping plant masses overlap and flow from one area to the next, creating movement and softness while providing a counterpoint to the strong geometry and architecture of the residence.
Repetition of key plants, colors, and forms establishes a recognizable vocabulary throughout the estate. The result is intended to feel refined yet natural, romantic yet restrained - a landscape of rhythm and grace that feels inseparable from the architecture and its setting.
